Bibliographic sources will be detailed as footnotes and indicate the author's last name, year of publication and page on which the citation is found (example: Pereira Salas, 1971, p. 83). If more than one work of an author published in the same year are cited, they must be differentiated with a letter after the year (Pereira Salas, 1971a, Pereira Salas, 1971b). Other types of footnotes may not exceed more than ten lines.
The bibliography will be indicated at the end of the article as follows:

- Articles: the title will be cited in quotation marks and the book or magazine in which it was published, in italics, indicating volume and / or issue number, year and page numbers in which it is located (example: Ulianova, Olga, "Develando un mito: emisarios de la Internacional Comunista en Chile”, Historia, vol. 1, n°. 41, Santiago, enero-junio 2008, pp. 107-111). When citing the same author and work for a second or subsequent time, indicate last name, year, op. cit. and the corresponding page number(s).
Use bibliography pertinent to the study which contains works from the period reviewed and contemporary bibliography congruent to the subject studied. Preferably, use bibliography published within the last ten years.
Finally, the roles that each author played in the creation of the article must be specified. In the latest update of SciELO's guidelines for indexed journals, the Author Contribution Statement (CRediT) is included (for more information, visit https://credit.niso.org/), where authors of the articles must define their contributions based on the pre-defined taxonomy of 14 CRediT roles (Contributor Roles Taxonomy).
Example:
Verónica Salas: Conceptualization, Funding acquisition, Investigation, Methodology, Project administration, Supervision, Writing – original draft, Writing – review & editing.
Mario Pérez: Investigation, Visualization, Writing – review & editing.
